Welcome

Welcome to our campaign website. I hope it will help you get to know me and the principles and ideals for which I stand.

 

Why I'm running

I am a Guilford County native. I was born here, grew up here and attended county schools.

 

Nine years in the Army taught me the meaning of respect and helped develop my leadership skills. I applied that training to my role as Mayor and Town Councilman in Pleasant Garden and have proven my ability to lead and build consensus.

 

I am a working man and a family man. This is my home and I have a sincere desire to make it an even better place to live. For that to happen, I believe that our area needs better representation on the Board of Commissioners. That is why I am running for this office.

My Record

My political record shows that I have been fair and equitable with all constituents in my community. I will continue that record as your District 5 Commissioner. You can count on me to be accessible and to always represent Guilford County with dignity and integrity.

 

My Pledge

In this era of rapid change, our special challenge is to preserve our traditional roots in agriculture and our unique community character while still improving our economic opportunities.

 

As your County Commissioner, I pledge to bring my demonstrated dedication, energy and integrity to all of District 5. I will only vote to support your best interest, not for my own interests or special interests.
